RecruitZ is FREE and a contest!

Hope you’re all enjoying 2015. It’s been a busy first couple of months for us. It’s hard to believe we’ve already gotten to Feb. 14th!

***Happy Heart Day everyone!!***

I’ve been working away on Buried Sins and loving every second of it. I caught a cold twice in two weeks, which I didn’t even know was possible, and my husband is finishing up his Media and Communications degree. He only has four more weeks of classes! Not that I’m counting the seconds or anything…

I’m looking forward to sharing Buried Sins with you all very soon, and I hope you enjoy the twists and turns this book has to offer. There is no rest for Luke, Hannah or Mia!

I’m also super excited about the cross-over series that I have coming out, Island County Series. It will be out this spring!! For all you Beyond Love Series readers, this will be a great way to stay in touch with all your favorite characters. Mason will be in the first book and all books will be “stand alones”. I’m beyond thrilled about bridging these two series.

Lastly, I wanted to let you all know that I just dropped the price to FREE on RecruitZ. The pricing is in effect at Kindle, Kobo, and iBooks. I’m hoping it drops at Nook soon. If you haven’t had a chance to read about Preston and Rebekah in the Afterworld, I hope you’ll give it a shot. The series is so much fun to write, and it’s unlike any story out there! I had fun coming up with my own twist, and it’s so great hearing from people who hadn’t ever read a post-apocalyptic book before and now they totally enjoy the genre.

I’ve provided the links to view below, and if you grab a copy, I hope you enjoy!

Contest: Leave a comment about your favorite part of spring and you’ll be entered to win a $10 Amazon card during the release week of Buried Sins.

I’ll talk to you soon…

(Afterworld #1)

RecruitZ Karice small

Zombies like never before… Welcome to the Afterworld.

Have you tasted fear? I have. It’s bitter and lingers in your mouth long after the moment has passed. That fear kept me alive during the apocalypse. I never stopped moving, and I never gave up hope.

The outbreak is over and vaccinations have been administered, but I’m tasting that fear again. Why? Because the undead have returned, and this time there’s no stopping them or the people who control them.

The outbreak might be over, but the nightmare is just beginning.

AlibiZ Afterworld Series smaller

Rebekah vows to expose the truth behind the RecruitZ that are killing the innocents. These creatures must be stopped, but so should the people controlling them. When Rebekah uncovers who is behind the uprisings, her own life becomes in danger.

Rebekah knows that she is not alone in this fight but vengeance alone won’t help her and the others to victory. It is up to her to uncover the truth for the public before the world is turned over to an elite few.

Regardless of what may happen to her, she knows it’s a race against time to destroy these creatures and the monsters controlling them before there is no one left worth saving.

(Afterworld #3) – Coming in 2015!

P.S. The winner from the last contest was Debbie! An email has been sent. Congrats!!

Best part of Spring is the joy of wearing flipflops and taking my kids to the park. Also spring time makes great photos for my photography.

    • kbolton says:

I can’t wait for flip-flop season. They are my go to shoe from April-Sept (except when it’s rainy, which happens a lot for us). Your photos are always so pretty.

    • Sarah James says:

I like spring because you have the nice bright sunshine with lovely clear air before it gets too stuffy in the summer, and to see all the new buds of the flowers and trees coming out into blossom. 🙂

      • kbolton says:

I agree. It’s a nice time of year before summer slams in with the heat. I love seeing all the of the flowers come to life too!

My favourite part of spring is, the cold not making my pain worse than normal. Meaning I can spend more time with my gorgeous girlies instead of being stuck in bed! x

    • kbolton says:

That is so sweet of you, Emma-Jayne. Thank you so much. That means a ton.

And here is to warm weather arriving soon so that the pain lessens. I’ll think extra good thoughts that spring and summer come early for you.

My favorite part of Spring is the gradual warm up. Michigan winters can be brutal, so I’m always looking forward to the warmer weather.

Thank you so much for the giveaway! Fingers crossed. 🙂

  12. Sarah M says:

Oooh, I love both spring and autumn equally! Spring, I look forward to temperatures being similar or slightly warmer than what we have in winter (there’s not a huge gap; Seattle’s pretty mellow) and more days with sunshine. Summer can be too hot for me, but spring’s juuuust right. I look forward to pretty flowers starting to show up around town. And, I look forward to seeing my friends more often, as the sunshine boosts Vitamin D levels and gives us more energy. More energy, more desire to go grab drinks or just hang out somewhere. Such a great time of year 🙂

You didn’t really tell us your favorite part of spring! Outside of releasing a book, what do you love about it? 🙂

    • kbolton says:

      Very true!

Let’s see. I love so many things about spring. Seeing the fawns, bunnies, ducklings as they begin their journey is a special thing. I get very excited when I see any of those guys wander through our yard. I also love the longer days (although I love the shorter days in the winter too). I also love how my birthday is in the spring… and getting to enjoy Easter brunch. Hmm! The list might be endless. But I love all the seasons!

  13. DARLA KIDDER says:

  15. candy s says:

Best part of Spring is the warm weather and being able to enjoy going to the park again!

  16. Anne says:

My first thought was the same as Jeanine’s, throwing open the windows and letting my apartment air out. Then watching my cats both sniff the scents and watch the ducks and animals come out and get all excited “chirping” and moving their tails. Though I did see a bunny last month.

    • kbolton says:

It’s always wonderful when the birds start chirping! Our bunnies have been really active. We seem them almost nightly nibbling on grass.

  17. Mark says:

My favorite part of spring is gardening… every year I try to grow stuff. LOL. Some years we get some flowers, not very good at growing food yet – but I’ll get there. We’ve already started here in west TX. Hope the season spreads to the rest of the country though!

What I like best about spring is the renewal of Mother Earth. Watching the landscape come to life after a cold winter. Seeing the baby animals born in the warm spring weather. I guess it’s a good thing that I live in a rural area.
    Blessings & Thanks to All.
